Multi-Function Button

In terms of controls, the Turonic G5 features a single button that is easy to access with your thumb while holding the machine. This multi-functional button allows you to power the massage gun on and off, and shuffle between the 5 different speed settings.

Getting the G5 started can be a bit tricky if you\’re not familiar with how it operates. Simply pressing the power ON button once doesn\’t do anything – you need to press and hold the button until the battery indicator LED\’s turn on. Now the device is on, but you need to press the power button again in order to select the first speed mode. Once you get the hang of this, it\’s really easy to operate and use. After 10 minutes, the Turonic G5 automatically turns off. If you\’d like to continue past 10 minutes, simply power on the massage gun again.

While having a single button adds to the G5\’s minimalist design aesthetic, it is somewhat inconvenient having to cycle through all of the higher-speed options to get back down to a lower-speed setting. I would have preferred to have separate buttons for gearing up or down. Nevertheless, there is an LED indicator to show which speed setting you\’re on, so you\’ll know how many presses are still required.

The multi-function button might sound like a design flaw, but it is very common on massage guns. You\’ll find a single multi-function button on direct competitors such as the Hypervolt 2 as well. Considering the significantly lower price of the Turonic G5, it makes sense that design elements would need to be kept simple in order to achieve this cost reduction. I don\’t know about you, but I\’d prefer to pay less for a massage gun that offers the same power and premium quality if it means sacrificing an extra button.

5 Speed Options

The Turonic G5 features 5 gears to offer a wide range of speed options. These include 1200, 1600, 2200, 2800, and 3200 RPM. The higher the RPM, the more intense the massage will feel, so it\’s best to start on the lowest setting and work your way up from there to find the best intensity to suit your specific needs. Battery Life & Charging

The Turonic G5 Massage gun features a battery level indicator to help you keep track of your charge level. Three LED indicators at the bottom of the handle represent each battery level group: 0-30%. 30-70%, and 70-100%. The 3400mAh battery will give you around 1.5 to 5.5 hours of use, depending on which gear you use. Using the massage gun at a higher speed will drain the battery faster.

To charge, connect the charging cable into the port located at the bottom of the Turonic G5 massage gun. A red LED shines to confirm your massage gun is charging and changes to green when the massage gun is fully charged. This can take anywhere from 3 to 5 hours depending on how drained the battery was.

Cleaning the Turonic G5 Massage Gun

Cleaning the Turonic G5 is easy and should be done regularly. To do this, simply wipe the body of the massage gun with a soft cloth. Be sure not to clean any of the moving parts of the body, as this can remove the grease needed for the massage gun to operate properly.

The attachment heads can be washed in warm soapy water but should be completely dry before using them in your G5 again. It should go without saying that the body of the massage gun cannot be submerged in any water or liquid whatsoever, only the attachment heads.
