How to Join Thenga SMP (Step-by-Step Guide)

Welcome to Thenga SMP, the private whitelisted Minecraft Survival Multiplayer (SMP) world built exclusively for Malayalees worldwide.

Because Thenga SMP is a private community server, the server node IP is never published on the open web to protect our world against automated bot crawlers, griefers, and DDoS attacks. Server connection credentials are provided securely to verified members via our Discord guild.

Follow this simple 4-step checklist to join our world.

Step 1: Submit Your Whitelist Dossier

Before you can connect, your Minecraft In-Game Name (IGN) must be added to the server’s whitelist database.

1. Navigate to the whitelist application modal on this website:
   • Click the “Apply ✦” button in the navigation bar or visit thenga.net/apply.
2. Fill out your details in the dossier:
   • Discord Handle: Required so our team can reach out and grant your whitelist role.
   • Minecraft In-Game Name (IGN): Enter your exact Java username (case-sensitive).
   • Age & Location: To help build an intimate, mature Malayalee survival atmosphere.
   • Playstyle Interests: (e.g. Community Building, Technical Redstone, Vanilla Exploration, Shop District).
3. Click Submit Whitelist Dossier.

Step 2: Join the Thenga SMP Discord Guild

All server coordination, voice communications, community announcements, and world coordinates reside on our official Discord server.

1. Join the Discord guild using the community link:
   • Discord Link: thenga.net/discord
2. Head over to the #whitelist-status or #introductions channel.
3. Our server admin team will review your application, verify your profile, and assign the @Whitelisted role.

Step 3: Receive Server Connection Credentials

Once your @Whitelisted role is assigned, access to our secure communications channel will automatically unlock:

1. Open the locked channel named #server-access in Discord.
2. Inside #server-access, you will find:
   • Java Server Address & Port (Fabric 26.3 high-performance node).
   • Live 3D BlueMap Web Map URL (Real-time rendered web map with coordinates).
   • Simple Voice Chat UDP Port (For proximity audio in-game).

⚠️ Security Notice: Never share or repost the server IP on public social media. Keeping our node credentials private ensures a lag-free, grief-free sanctuary for everyone.

Step 4: Launch Minecraft & Connect!

1. Launch Minecraft Java Edition 26.3.
2. Go to Multiplayer → Add Server.
3. Paste the server address retrieved from #server-access.
4. Click Done and join the server!
